Casting Breakdown
MARA (Lead, Afro-Latina Female, curly hair, 27-35): Caring, resilient, and strong willed. She is a mother who is always prioritizing the needs of her daughter despite difficult life circumstances. Despite her best efforts, she can’t help but snap at times. Must be fluent in Spanish and English. Sides can be found here.
ILIANA (Lead, Afro-Latina Female, curly hair, 4-8): Curious, well behaved, and innocent. She is a mild mannered child excited to learn and absorb her environment. She sees the best in people and always seeks validation from her mother. Must be fluent in Spanish and English. Sides can be found here.
MIGUEL (Lead, Latino Male, 30-45): A man who is torn between finding himself and taking care of his family. Must be fluent in Spanish and English. Sides can be found here.
