Yale in Hollywood will present its fifth global virtual film festival, Yale in Hollywood Fest, from December 5 to 7, 2024, with a three-day lineup of short films and live streaming events, all programs streaming free (except the opening feature) to the world and can be accessed directly via the official website.
Yale in Hollywood Fest 2024 will open with “Midas,” the first feature film by Yale in Hollywood Fest 2020’s winner of Best Dramatic Short Film TJ Noel-Sullivan. A livestream Q&A with filmmaker TJ Noel-Sullivan will occur on Thursday, December 5 at 5 pm PT / 8 pm ET.
On Thursday, December 5, from 7 to 10 pm, St. Felix Hollywood is sponsoring a launch party celebrating Yale in Hollywood Fest 2024 at St. Felix Hollywood at 1602 N. Cahuenga Blvd, Hollywood, CA 90028, with free admission.
On Saturday, December 7, 2024, at the livestream YIH Awards Ceremony at 3 pm PT / 6 pm ET, bestselling novelist, actress, and filmmaker Robinne Lee and actor C.S. Lee will be presented with the Visionary of the Year Award and the Career Achievement Award, respectively, of Yale in Hollywood Fest 2024.
This year, all festival selections will be juried by an esteemed alumnae jury consisting of creator Justin Noble, actor and YSD graduate C.S. Lee, past festival winners actress/filmmaker Kate Nowlin, and producer/director Daniela Alatore.
Yale in Hollywood Fest showcases features and short films that include at least one Yale student, alumnus, or current staff in the starring, producing, writing, or directing chair. All events, including screenings and live streams, will be available directly from Yale in Hollywood Fest’s official website.
