TJ NOEL-SULLIVAN

Founder and Producer

TJ Noel-Sullivan is a Hartford native and founder of the Hartford Film Company. He directs and produces a wide range of projects for the company, including feature-length, commercial, and documentary films.


His debut feature film, Midas, opened in theaters across the country and received a 100% fresh rating from critics on Rotten Tomatoes. His next film, a documentary about America’s teacher shortage, draws inspiration from his parents, both Hartford public school educators. TJ is a proud graduate of Hartford Public Schools and received his BA in Film from Yale University.


In his free time, he serves on the board of ambassadors for local organizations including Hartford Stage, The Bushnell, and the Hartford Public Library. He and his fiancée are enthusiastic supporters of the city’s local theaters and athletic teams, UConn Men’s and Women’s basketball, particularly.
